THE STORY BEHIND KNOCK
It started
in prison.
KNOCK began with a domino game I learned while incarcerated in Texas.
It wasn't just another way to pass the time. It was a competitive game with its own rules, strategies, and unforgettable moments.
After my release, I searched for a digital version of the game I'd come to know. I couldn't find one that captured the experience.
So an idea began to take shape.
What if I built it myself?
For nearly six years, that idea stayed with me. I researched, planned, wrote down concepts, and imagined what KNOCK could become.
But life kept moving. Work, responsibilities, and providing for my family took priority.
Then a serious motorcycle accident changed the way I thought about time.
I realized I didn't want to spend the rest of my life wondering what might have happened if I'd pursued the idea.
I bought books on C#, Unity, and game development. I started learning. I built small projects, made mistakes, and kept going.
Eventually, I began building the game I'd imagined for years.
And KNOCK became real.
Six years ago, KNOCK was notes on paper. Today, it's playable. Now I want to finish what I started.
